The Fairmont Royal York

Toronto, ON

Lobby

For many years the largest hotel in the British Empire, ForrestPerkins put the finishing touches on the restoration of the lobby of the Royal York, circa 1928, begun by Deborah Lloyd Forrest in 1989. From the restored original travertine columns and hand stenciled beamed ceiling, enhanced by adding custom designed cast bronze chandeliers and wall sconces and capped by the installation of 6000 square feet of marble mosaic flooring, the lobby fairly glows. This handsome restoration exemplifies ForrestPerkins' stewardship and expertise at renewing landmark hotels that will define luxury for generations to come.

Epic Restaurant

This stylish new restaurant and lounge in the heart of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel defines luxury in a contemporary context for Toronto's beloved landmark. Glowing natural onyx at the back bar entices patrons from the adjacent traditional lobby. Exceedingly comfortable as well as beautiful, the varied seating options promote a luxurious dining experience and an elegant and stylish lounge atmosphere that in turn support revenue goals.
