Washington, DC
Award-winning interior architectural and design firm ForrestPerkins led the restoration and renovation of The Jefferson Hotel, Washington, DC that has transformed this exquisite 99-room landmark into Washington, D.C.’s best small luxury hotel. No detail was spared and even the smallest decisions were carefully considered to create a hotel that feels like a grand and gracious home, with areas of discovery – from private nooks to Jeffersonian-inspired design details – designed to delight and inspire. Thomas Jefferson’s aesthetic sensibilities inform every aspect of the hotel’s design scheme – from his life at Monticello to his extensive travels to France – yet rarely in a literal way. The effect pays homage to The Jefferson’s namesake without creating a stuffy, period interior.
